I can’t tell you how good God is. That verse I was talking about (James 1:5-6)
“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.”
(NIV)This is so true! I have to say that God really does grant wisdom to those who ask-he did for me. I was just thinking about the fact that I can really say that God worked a miracle in my life with the wisdom he granted me. Praise him for answering prayer! Just wanted to share that…
Joshua 1:6-9
6″Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. 7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”I like the part about not letting the Bible leave our mouths. Interesting thought…I guess we’ve all heard the addage “Garbage in, garbage out”. OK, maybe that was just my mom…but it is really true. You can fill your mind with trash or you can fill it with the inspired words of God. Hmmm….I guess that means less TV for me…
Why does no one comment on my blog anymore? Are the entries so long that by the time you’re done reading, you don’t have time to say Hi…
Tell them Hi for me…hehehehehehhee
Shantelle B is cool. She came over and watched “The Amazing Race” last night. I think she’s hooked…we’ll see. She’s also coming over to play NERTZ Friday night. YAY! One more person to beat down with my magnificent Nertz prowess…Good luck Shantelle…
Colin and Christie are a good team most of the time…I think that egg eating thing looked easy…and Colin was SUCH a WIMP! Man…

The “garbage in – garbage out” adage is used always in programming. If you write garbage (code) then the output will be garbage – so it is not only your mom.
I watched Amazing Race for the first time last night. I don’t remeber all of the names but it was amusing to see the “Christian” couple say that whether they win or not was up to God and then turn around and throw the $10 at the feet of the bus driver… Hmmmm. Colan is a wimp I agree. I like Chip and Kim so far. They just seemed to be enjoying the ride.
Chip and Kim are also Christians, they talked about it when they were looking for a prodigal son picture in a famous museum–they seem to be doing well in the race and with their witness. The Christian Couple-girl lost it, but I thought the curly haired guy did a good job of keeping his witness. He was the one who picked up the $10 off the ground and gave it to the guy…it is a little interesting to see how people fair on TV on that kind of stuff…
Hmmm…I feel so out of the loop. I didn’t even know they were still airing “The Amazing Race.” (?!) The television and I have not been acquainted as of lately. What else is going on that I don’t know about?
Shantelle and I will beat you this weekend! She has the gift, I feel it…
