Disney/Pixar’s UP
I was skeptical about Disney/Pixar’s new movie, UP, mostly due to it’s nebulous marketing. I had no idea what the movie was going to be about. The posters were minimalist, the trailers were short, and the ads didn’t reveal much…
But you know what?
It was a brilliant choice!! I finally went to the theater to see a movie from which I hadn’t previously seen all the best punchlines in the ubiquitous trailers and billboards. It was great!
And the movie UP was fantastic. Seriously, it was soooooo amazing.
Go see it.

I loved it. It was awesome, and I’m not huge on kids’ movies. Did you see the cartoon before it with the storks?? That was the best.
I’m glad to finally hear a review of this movie, glad it was good! Although it will probably still be a renter for me…
I suppose I”ll have to go see this one then! Did your kids like it?
@MelodicPuppy - Yeah–Nathaniel liked it just fine. He didn’t catch all of what was really going on…but that is OK with me…
@klappyanne - no no no no—go see it. IN 3D!!!! No renting.
There’s actually a LOT you can take away from this movie…good themes about life and LIVING. It is a MUST see. Immediately!
@CelinaHernandez - The digital shorts before Pixar’s films are awesome. My favorite though was the one before Wall-E, with the magician and the bunny…HAHA
I read an article that said Russell was Asian. Did anyone else catch that??? He was Asian??
@marshallismyalias - I caught it…
