Just 4 Days Left…
…until my birthday!
That’s right! I will be turning 29 on Friday…oh shoot…that just sounded really old…
GREAT.
Well…that is that. I’m old now…or at least I will be after Friday.
I’m posting a link to my amazon wish list below…not that any of you are obligated to buy me anything, but just in case you have lots of extra cash floating around and feel generous.
P.S. We are probably saving up to buy a Wii for Christmas (for the boys…um…and me…from Santa Claus…) but I felt compelled to include it on the list because WHY NOT?

I heard on the radio this morning that it’s actually illegal to reward someone for voting (because people were caught bribing homeless and poor people to vote for the candidate of their choice in exchange for money and food!!). They were saying on the radio that they didn’t think anyone was going to enforce this law tomorrow at Starbucks, though. I thought that was interesting.
If you’re old I’m ancient.
And you can’t lament your age until you’re at least 30. I made a conscious decision that I wouldn’t think about birthdays until I hit 40. BTW, your thirties are the BEST years ever, so you haven’t even gotten started yet. Seriously, life got really good for me in my thirties, and most everyone else I know. The 20′s are kind of a struggle in a lot of ways, and the 30′s things start to really fall into place. The 40′s are supposed to be even better. Man, that sounds old, and it’s right around the corner for Ule & I.
@klappyanne - that’s weird. Pat & Oscars is giving a 20 % discount to anyone who votes tomorrow…it’s really illegal??
They had free Ben & Jerry’s and Krispy Kreme on Election Day, too. I didn’t get any of them, though.
