Yo Yo Yo
Lots of stuff going on…
First off, I helped Chris H put on his ROOF today. Yes, I did carpentry-type things. Manly things with grunting and lifting heavy things and nailing stuff. I was scared of falling off at first, but got into it and BLASTED those plywood boards with his staple-gun (a.k.a. nail gun with staples in it). I rocked the roof, basically. And the end result isn’t half bad…so yeah for wood and nails (or staples, whatever) and helping out a great friend.
I’m participating in a Sibelius workshop over the next few days, so you may hear a little bit less from me.
Learning Sibelius is something I have on my “2-Year Plan” and I’m very glad to be doing this class. It’s going to be amazing and fun to hang out with the people (some of whom I’ve yet to meet) that are signed up. Yipee!Choir and Orchestra practice starts up on this coming Sunday, and we said goodbye to Shantelle and the Rosner’s…so sad to have them gone.
Well, I’ve got to get some rest!!
More riveting blog entries later…

So was this manly time better than the remodel of the nursery by you & Derek??? It’s amazing that place looked ok with all the experience the two of you brought to the table!!
It was slightly less manly than that time…only because any project I did with Derek either he or I were the one making all of the decisions…and this time I just did what I was told (as much as I ever actually can).
Kayaking, now roofing??? Way to cowboy up dude! Now you have to come and ride my horse:>)
Somehow I can’t picture you doing that. Hmmm. Hope we don’t totally suck this Sunday at practice.
