EDIT ADD: got my first Starbucks Crossword puzzle yesterday and I rocked it! I started probably at about 8 or 9 PM and worked on it a little bit off and on between cuddling on the couch with my sweetie–but I just couldn’t stop working on it because one fill-in led to another and so I finally finished it at a prompt 2:30AM! YES! I got the clue right and everything! I can’t wait to win free coffee for life!
PS- Uncle Lee–never have done crosswords after my initial interest sometime around 10 years ago at your house after seeing you and my dad labor over them, but this seems a worthy time to restart!
__________________________________Church at Eastside was cool, and I would love to work there. We had a great time–good job to the worship leaders over there. I do hope that I can bring what I have to the table at this place ’cause I feel like I could add a lot–but we’ll just see how things play out this week! Be praying!
I would love to hear from you Midway-ites how everything is going since we miss you!
Oh yeah- Seinfeld Season Six speical features are even better than ever! Yeah!
AND- even though I’m no chocolate fan, I went ahead and tried the Marble Mocha Macchiato at Starbucks. It was tasty! It actually just tasted mostly like a regular Caffe Mocha to me…but again, I’m no chocolate expert! Poo-poo on Heidi for not liking it!
Now, would I order it again? No. I’m sticking with my Caramel Macchiato! And I’m just arranging away!
Also- you may notice a barrage of links in this entry. HA! I’ve never done this before, but got the idea only from my friends that blog over here. They’re link maniacs! Everything that could possibly be linked is linked…I just thought it’d be fun to try it out!! But honestly–some of the best blogs I’ve read, ever!
OK- Midway–how are you?

Dude, I’ve been linking in my blog for years. Pay attention!
i really do think that eastside would be a great fit for the semsen family…
Hey Daniel… things are good here. We miss you guys though; I missed you guys today…. something is missing with you guys gone. Hey, when are you guys going to come down and visit like you said you were? Better do it soon before you start working all the time.
I see, so your are a starbucks-aholic, but not a choco-aholic! Missed seeing your faces today.
There is nothing better than a Starbucks decaf nonfat white chocolate mocha with extra whip. You can keep your caramel macchiato.
) And just so you know, music was great today at church – as was the special speaker, Lonnie Short. Looks like it will be as you predicted, that Aaron will be a good fit.
Daniel, you and your family are always missed! There is no replacing how God has used your family to change lives here at Midway…. but, I have to say… YOU WERE RIGHT!! Aaron did a great job today. The first service had a life that was wonderful to experence. I saw our older saints smiling and tapping their toes…pretty cool and weird all in one. I’m still praying for you and your job situation but, as I stated before…you ARE working…silly! Enjoy the time the Lord has given you to compose…what a great God we serve!! Hey, when are you guys coming for a visit? Once you get a 9 to 5 along with school and composing we might not see you for a loooong time…I missed the last Nertz game, lets PLAY!!
No fair. Don’t be mean just because I think the MMM is too sweet.
The marble mocha macchiato is delicious!! Carol brought it home for me a month or so ago because the Old Town Pasadena store got the recipe in advance. I’ve ordered it randomly since then and confused the heck out of poor Starbucks employees as I explain to them how to make it. I am definitely of the opinion that there is no such thing as too much chocolate!!!!

THAT IS FANTATSTIC TO HEAR!!! I love it! I’m so glad…and btw–I TOLD YOU SO!!!! HAHAHA!!
Dude, what is with all of the CAPITAL LETTERS and the HAHAHA’s lately? It’s like reading the blog of an eleven year old. WHO like TO TYPE like this because its just WAY COOL YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN TOTALLY AWESOME!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Ahem.
Mike has a scary picture…
A Marble Mocha Macchiato is actually a lot more like a white mocha than a normal one, though it’s most like a zebra mocha. It’s just slightly less white mocha at the bottom of the cup, then the milk with foam, then the espresso, and drizzles of normal chocolate on top. So it’s got both kinds of chocolate, just in different proportions than a usual zebra mocha. And for a limited time only, you can get a cool stir stick with a chocolate lollypop-lookin thing at the end when you buy one!
No, I’m not a Starbucks geek, just a barista.
Mike, if it was a true blog of an eleven-year-old, iT wOUlD lOOk soMEtHinG LiKE tHiS!
Dude, 4 points. I love how you are acting soooooooo (sOooOoOOooooO) superior to me because you beat me by 4 points. I demand a rematch.
There’s Starbucks crossword puzzles? And you win stuff?
Daniel…I don’t know what you mean. You’re speaking some computer language I don’t understand. Maybe instead of criticizing my huge pictures, you could like give me some tips. ok, in other news I’m excited for this Eastside church…I’ll be a bit jealous of them. We definately miss you guys…ok see you later!
Yes, definitely tell us more about the Starbucks crossword puzzles. I’ve become addicted to Soduko puzzles, especially the ones at the back of the TV Guide, but I don’t win anything for doing those, just satisfaction.
)
^^^^In regards to the crossword puzzles….i posted about them a couple posts ago with a link to the starbucks page that talks about them…check it out all!!!
“be sure and be open to his style”….
Of course! I must’ve sounded negative eh? I am excited about where Midway will be headed in the coming year. Guess what? Choir practice was last night and it went well. He might be spoiling us though…we got to sit through the whole rehersal! Yup. Oh, on one song, he has us singing unison for Sunday, then next week we’ll work the parts. It’s “Cover the Earth”. The parts aren’t that hard, but I think he’s just making sure we know the song melody so the congregation learns it too. And, we’ll be doing music for the Music California this year! It’s a patriotic music thingie. And one of the songs is one that Chris and Melody know! Maybe Chris will get to sing the solo?!?!
Hope Eastside “gets it” – that is, what a blessing it would be if you and Christy joined their church! In a leadership position of course! Keep us posted.
Give hugs to Christy, Nathaniel and Noah from all of us (Kenny, Kristi and myself). and be sure to have Nathaniel, Christy and Noah give you hugs from us too!
