I miss The Office. Poo poo on you Olympics, ’cause The Office is not coming back ’til you’re gone! Oh well…(sniff)
Speaking of funny shows–in the midst of what is a crazy arranging time for me right now (hooray for work!) I took a little break from the coffee and the staring into my computer screen and watched a little Seinfeld Season 5 sp. features, and THEY ARE GREAT! Good job to the Seinfeld crew for making great sp. features. I guess these DVDs were worth the wait afterall!
Class tonight. One of our recent assignments was to write a :30 commercial with only the lyrics to start with. I finished mine, but I’m not sure how confident I am about letting the class listen to it…I can wait for some others to go first, and if theirs stink I will feel a little better…it is always a little intimidating to showcase yourself like that in front of a whole bunch of people. But I will tell you this, I am very challenged with my schooling, so for that I am extremely grateful. I love it. School is great!
This weekend we are going to a church that is a potential job…Eastside in Fullerton.

“How was Sunday?” It was okay. Getting use to the new is going to take time. ACT mixed together a few hymns, with key changes and no breaks for the first service. It’s like the last church I was at where the leader spoke between songs. The second hour we started with choir singing “Let There Be Blessing” with Joli singing solo. It went well. He walks around singing and Mel played the piano the whole time. He almost fell off the steps at one point. I didn’t see it but he made a comment about it to the congregation. It’s different Daniel. I missed you a lot. You have a quiet presence in leadership. You were always just there leading and we followed. That’s just the way it is. It’s not all about being the center. There are lots of empty spaces in the choir. Christy, Carol and Sara aren’t there. Tim Lamar is gone. I think Chris was training last weekend so I hope he comes back.
