OOOOKKK! Congrats to Chris and Melody who are now officially ENGAGED! Yahoo! Good for them...I was actually incredibly honored to be a big part of the proposal. You see, today is Melody's b-day, and so Chris setup this time to go get couple-y pictures taken of them at Presidio Park. His camera dude bailed last minute, so here am I. I was like, "How do you work this thing?" Anyway-Chris called me and asked me to fill in as photographer--which I really have to talent for--and he ALSO told me that he would be proposing at the end of the photo shoot. So we snapped a bunch of pics (oh yeah, Melody was so awkward-she was awkwardly awkward) and then Chris had this gift that had this thingy at the end that ended in a proposal. As soon as she turned to that page in the book, she was like "NO WAY!" (pointed to me) "YOU HAVE TO LEAVE NOW!" and so I did. I went about 200 ft away and snapped some more pics...so fun!

------------------------------------------The Lord is testing us. Or maybe just me. If I don't get a job soon, I may lose it. And I know I've already failed the test. "Lord, I failed! I admit it! Sooooo, you can just end the test, 'cause I already know I'm not good at being patient and I failed that trusting and faith test..." (waiting)
Going back to SD again, we have three more weekends and then it's over. It has been fun while we've been doing it...

I agree it is tough sometimes to be still and know that He is God....praying for you.
I love you guys with all of my heart. I know something will come soon. God is in this and He is caring for you even now. The right position will open up, probably on Feb. 13th

What do you mean, you "failed the test?" Of trusting and waiting? You're still doing that by default, right, for lack of anything else to be doing right now? Hey, it's okay to be pissed and frustrated at your situation or at God or at both. I admire gut-wrenchingly honest emotions. But don't be so hard on yourself when you're doing the best you can.
BTW, just started season 8 of X-Files. Love it.
