  • Well. Today was quite the day.
Last night I was up 'til almost 3AM working on arranging. Got up today about 7:30, did my devos and went back to arranging til noon. Went to see an old college buddy's student choir that is touring right now and happened to be in Seaport Village. We had lunch with them and hung out and talked for a long time about ministry and stuff. It was fun. Lots of "did you know so-and-so is finally getting married...or just had a baby...etc.." it was hilarious-and cool to connect again.

Ok-then after that is was back to arranging 'til I had to go to a wedding rehearsal at 6:30PM, all along Christy is transcribing "Inside Your Heaven" to sing at this same wedding (which happens to be at 9AM on Saturday, a really weird time). Came home, had a bite to eat and played with the kids for a minute while practicing the above song w/Christy for the wedding which is now in less than 12 hours (and will probably be over by the time you read this), and I am back to arranging again...on a side note, this arranging gig is due tomorrow morning, that's why the long hours. Oh well, I love it. I love arranging. Even though it is hard to do sometimes with my schedule and without the satisfaction that comes from hearing the end product, I still love it.

Oh yeah, so our friend's parents were buddies with Keith Green. AND they do all the practice vocal tracks for Celeste Clydesdale's kids musicals (not the finished product, but the demo to send to Nashville and to give to the studio singer-kids who eventually record the project). Isn't that the coolest!?!?!?!

Oh yeah-and I've had WAY more ice cream today than any individual should consume in a 24-hour period. It was so tasty! But, I won't be doing that again....
