So the Olympics have been on TV lately.
    I don’t know if you’ve noticed or anything…

So here is OUR Olympic journey:

Since Christy and I are not around our DVR on the weekends
    and
Since we’re just all around busy

…we are currently watching our recorded Olympics from LAST SUNDAY!!!

I know!! We’re so behind…but it’s not like we’re watching everything! We’re fast-forwarding through all kinds of stuff, we’re just not catching up.
We’re on womanly gymnastics right now.

I have to say, I don’t feel great about myself when I’m watching this stuff. I mean, here we are, lounging around on the couch watching the strongest, fastest, most muscular and disciplined people in the WORLD compete. I just feel like a lazy-butt. A big, fat, lazy-butt. Am I the only one who feels like this?
Does anyone else feel my pain?

  • I was thinking about this last night when I was watching Walsh/May-Traenor play beach volleyball in swimsuits.  Oh, and not just swimsuits - BIKINIS.  I definitely feel your pain.

  • Right there with you, Bro!  Especially when you see Michael Phelps kickin’ booty in swimming.  Oh, and how about those opening ceremonies?  Awesome!  Spoken from someone with about 25% Chinese in her.

  • Can you pass me some more popcorn…mmmm this Dr. Pepper is amazing! Go Team!

  • It’s just not the same for me unless I’m watching it (fake) live.  You know, when it’s first being shown here in SD.  I’ve been staying up until midnight every night (with paperwork & computer at hand), and I now have dark circles under my eyes.  And no, I wasn’t feeling like a big, fat lazy-butt until you mentioned it – thanks.

  • I can feel it a little.  But I do try to get in at least 3 to 4 night sof exerices a week, eat my vegi, drink plenty of water, and try to eat in moderation.  but still I can kind of feel your pain.
