3:16
Today the Midway Praise Choir and Orchestra presented an abbreviated version of the worship musical called “3:16 The Numbers of Hope” to our church congregation during the normal Sunday morning worship services. This is the first time we have done something of this nature–a hybrid of performance and worship time–with our people. It seemed to be well received.
I have my own thoughts about the experience, and Christy and I talked a lot about it on the way home, but I’m curious about what all of you Midway-Xangans thought about it. Please drop a line via comment here and let me know what you thought!

I dunno I guess I’d have to see it.
I thought it was WELL received…at least by the comments I heard! Pretty funny though that the congregation stood through our narration….ooppsseeee! lol I am surprised no one thought to take a seat, especially since they pretty much chose to stand without direction!! It was really neat to see those who were hurting being ministered to. And the salvations….WOW! Now that is what it is all about!!! I for one LOVED IT!! =)
I was one of the last to take the stage, and I had goosebumps. I thought we sounded confident. Watching the congregation, I think they welcomed being included as we sang some of the songs. It probably wasn’t much different than a normal service, except there was narration leading into each song. (Which I thought was so well written, and spoken.) Very clear, very direct. I give it two thumbs up.
