Thanks for your prayers! Christy’s dad made it through surgery and is doing OK.
Note to self: never try to drive from Burbank to Fullerton during afternoon rush-hour traffic. It will take 2.5 hours.
Side note:
It seems impossible for anyone but David A. to win American Idol tonight.
I’m telling you, this show is weird.

I am so glad Christy’s Dad is doing well. I’m telling you if there were such a thing as frequent driver miles you’d have four tickets around the world by now.
I agree with your friend Lisa, BTW, “Buy David Cook CD’s/tix TOMMORROW.” He kind of has a Daughtry presence but Daughtry is way better.
Yes, David A’s voice is pure and by far more talent there as it goes for pure vocal quality. However, David Cook has more showmanship, experience (or so it seems) and “seemingly” more creativity to arrange veteran hits and make them more modern. I really like them both but think David A. is way too young and needs to gain a bit more stage presence. That’s just my opinion though and not worth any eProps! LOL!
