  • Just Kidding, Just Kidding, Just Kidding

Every once and a while, a truly remarkable and talented comedian comes along on SNL. Dan Akroyd, Phil Hartman, and Will Ferrell (among others) will be remembered for a long time as SNL greats…and I’m convinced that Kristen Wiig will soon be joining the list. This girl is hilarious–and I called it a looooong time ago, too…
Here are a couple of her winners from recent shows. SO funny…

So, who are your all-time favorite SNL cast members?

  • The surprise party was mediocre.

I miss the Two A-Holes. They crack me up. I wanna go to Hogwarts.

  • Molly Shannon, Jan Hooks, Cheri Oteri.

    I like the SNL chicks.
Guys – Jimmy Fallon, Will Farrell, Adam Sandler, Chris Farley.
And I dig the current cast – Bill Hader, Amy Pohler, Jason What’s-His-Name, and of course, Kristin Wiig…who is a national treasure.

  • Jason Sudekis?

We’ve got to give some props to Fred Armisen. The dude has the ability to morph into a huge range of characters, from a gigantic cat to Bill Gates to the guy he played on update last week.

Mike, go make me a smoothie.

  • you look like a rabbit.

  • Nice. She is pretty great.

I will say though, it was hard for me to watch the Christopher Walken show because I’ve never liked him. And watching just stare at the cue cards the entire episode was really distracting and annoying. Go away C.W.

  • OK – I totally agree about the cue cards. Memorize a line or two, home skillet. Geez.

  • >>Molly Shannon, Jan Hooks, Cheri Oteri.

Molly Shannon? C’mon, Cottrell. She was a one trick pony if there ever was one. Sure, she can sniff her armpits with the best of them, but after that what do you have left? Not much. Same w/ Jan Hooks. She could play a drunk socialite but after that, then what???

Oteri was funny. I’ll give you that one.

  • OK. Michael – I have never met you. But, I checked out your profile. You seem like a decent guy. In fact, it seems like we are a lot alike…same musical tastes, same TV tastes…maybe we’d be friends. But this is what I heard from your comment…

blah blah blah pony blah blah
And your comment can be summed up by the movie you just saw: no intelligence allowed.
    Thankyouandgoodnight.

  • Hey, you’re pretty funny. Your last part of your post, “blah blah blah,” reminded me of the script of Molly Shannon’s last movie.

  • OH–IT’S ON!!!!

  • Oooohhh…fightin’ words from an alto sax player.

  • An alto sax player? Are you talking about me or Dan? Because in concert band I had a bigger scholarship.
