Ice Cream, or..???
So, I saw this on the shelf at my local grocery store and I thought–GREAT! I love Dreyers Grand Light (or I think they call it Slow Churned now) so I thought for sure I’d love this stuff too. And I did–it is very good. (I tried the PB Cup, and it was yummy too).
Then I noticed this funny description of the ice cream on the side:
“Vanilla Flavor with mini Nestle Toll House Morsels and Cookie Dough Pieces”.Vanilla Flavor? What?
I didn’t even notice it until Christy said something like “Well, it’s not ice cream, it’s frozen yogurt or something” and alas, it is not…it’s Vanilla Flavor.Yeah, they also label it as a Frozen Dairy Dessert.
Sooooooo it’s not ice cream.
It’s not frozen yogurt, or sherbet, or sorbet, or frozen juice, or that italian gillato stuff…no…it’s FLAVOR. What is that??? Like…frozen cool whip??I’m not sure exactly what I’m eating here…
However…it was yummy.
Yummy sugar chemicals…

You have cavities.
I did redo “Be Thou”. I didn’t ask him, either. Is that bad?
“Yummy sugar chemicals…”
Heeheeheeheehee. You are funny. It looks good to me, too, though.

<<going to buy some more>>
You are just too funny! I almost laughed myself out of the chair!!!
But, does it taste like icecream?
yes. mostly.
The best chemicals are the tasty ones.
Sort of like the main ingredients in frappuccinos…
I’m glad someone else is noticing all the non-food items that is blatently put into our food supply. Honestly, no one even knows the extent of what these chemicals and crap do to our bodies. Dreyers is notorious for manufacturing chemical dessert “foods.” Anyways, if you switched to Ben and Jerry’s or the Rainbow icecream brand that Trader Joe’s sells for a couple of months, then tried Dreyers again, your taste buds would be disgusted. It’s like going from butter to margarine, from ”candy” coating to dark chocolate, from delicious and creamy raw milk to destroyed and pastuerized limp skim milk, from Starbucks coffee to burnt, 12 hour old gas-station brew. The pure, fresh, real ingrediants are always the best, but Americans are so used to processed and fake (ask any Frenchman) they don’t know what they’re missing out on. Ben and Jerry’s does makes an awesome cookie dough ice-cream. Yum…
BTW, I cannot stand those crappuccinos, sorry. I have standards, you know.
hey….he said he would be correcting papers. who knew he would RAISE FROM THE BLOGGING DEAD?!?!?!…all that to not sing in choir last night…..
I can’t believe you’ve never listened to Jill Phillips. She & her husband are amazing singer/songwriters. You should go listen to clips on her website. Or on http://www.christianbook.com. I love Steel Bars from her 1999 CD.
<this is in real time>
Chris is laughing at your post on my xanga, and it might be that he’s laughing AT you….or maybe ….no, it was AT you. little does he know, he’s fired. he’s definitely not getting paid for the bass singing that he’s NOT doing.
and p.s. Brett is so loud! Dustin was standing by the piano, and I laughed at him at one point, cause I heard him singing tenor, and then going straight down to some bass note, and I was like, “hehehehe, where ARE you? are you a tenor or a bass, freako?” then I asked him and he said it was Brett.
