  • I got a lot accomplished yesterday. Thanks for your prayers and thoughts! I finished both projects that were due today (one on Friday and one last night) and now I just have to worry about writing my final song for my commercial songwriting class and studying for my final...plus the rest of the work stuff...but right now those two things are on the front burner.

I think tonight I may take a little time and take the kids to the Apple Store in Brea. I need to take in my laptop to get looked at (it's running pretty slow, and still under warranty) and the Apple Store always a fun trip for everyone! There is a kids station where Nathaniel and Noah check out the latest computer games (Dora, Nemo, etc...) and I get to drool at the rest of the stuff...

Oh yeah, don't forget that Heroes is on tonight.
Man, I don't think I watched any TV this weekend. Not one stitch...too busy.

My song is going a little slow. Darn those lyrics! They're so hard to write!

  • Daniel, thanks for the info on the i-pod....think we will go with the shuffle.  Have fun at the apple store!

  • Is this the sort of situation where just singing "watermelon, cantaloupe" over and over works??

  • ^^^now that is funny!! Still laughing!  You can do it Captain!

  • What is your song about?  What kinda lyrics do you need?  That's the only part of song writing I'm decent at.

  • ^No help for Daniel.  It'd be like cheating, since this is school.  :o )  So the Apple store, huh?  There's a brand new one in the new Otay Ranch mall here in Chula Vista.  I don't know if I've ever seen an iPod (except in commercials).  I may have to go by so someone there can teach me something, huh?

  • Um, hello? You know I rule at writing lyrics. Well... only lyrics that you and Weird Al would appreciate, but still.

  • Happy Apple shopping!  :)
