  • Praise the Lord, I got a really good piano playing gig in Long Beach on Nov. 1st.  I’ll be playing for some lawyers and judges at a party down there, and charging an enormous amount of money. Hallelujah,  cause moving is expensive. I think we have to buy a new dryer, since we currently have an electric dryer and these hook-ups are for gas. Bummer.

I’m pretty drained and stressed. So many details to take care of with so little time. Thank God my parents are coming down to help us move, and that Christy’s parents are coming to stay with Noah/the kids during Noah’s therapy. We also have a team of dudes coming from our church. I am very thankful for this.

I’m also very thankful to my sweet wife, who in essence, is doing all of the work that holds our family together. I am working so much outside of the home, and she is pretty much doing all of the home stuff–taking care of the kids, Noah’s incredibly detailed correspondence with lawyers/regional centers/schools districts, and so on…

I’m a little frustrated because our internet at home is off/on. I can’t print and use the internet at the same time without switching something, and this morning I couldn’t do either one no matter what. Farty internet…

Hm-I didn’t enjoy 30 Rock. Sorry Tina Fey–You’re usually great, but this show is weird. However, contrary to what I’ve heard so far about Lost from other people, I liked it fine.

“cause I think we can all agree… there are just too many internteds…”

  • Dude, just a quick comment to say that you totally should call your buddy, Dave, about your phone issues. If he truly is your friend he will take responsibility for selling you this “service,” he will own the problem, and he will get it fixed and taken care of. If he won’t do it he’s just using you and isn’t really your friend. If I sold a friend of mine something so crappy I would totally feel bad about it and I’d do whatever it took to get it fixed and made right. This company is a joke, and if he cares about you at all he’ll own up and stand behind what he sold you.

  • You haven’t even called Dave? Dude, you can’t complain if you haven’t called him. Well, you can complain, but I won’t listen.

I’m not even going to watch last night’s episode of 30 Rock because of what you said. I really really disliked last week’s, so forget it. You’re dead to me, Tina Fey. (Unless you write another cool movie like Mean Girls.)

Fa la, fa la, yay for Thursdays and worship team rehearsal. And Starbucks. And TV. And friends. And your cute kids. And Sharifa. No seriously, Thursdays have been my favorite night of the week for YEARS for various reasons.

    Now I’m rambling.

I want that lady to leave.

  • I am praying for you Mr. Semsen.

  • Is my cell phone at your house??????????????

  • Yes…PRAISE THE LORD!!  He is working things out left and right for you and your family!!!  Enjoy your new place…YAY!!

  • Can I come over tonight and get it? Like, around 5?

It’s like I lost an arm or something. Or a Storm Trooper.

I like how blog comments are my backup means of communication.

    The end.

  • Please, like I know your phone number. MY CELL PHONE IS MY BRAIN.

I can just swing by your new place after work if you’re going to be there. Let me know.

  • Heidi, quit using your cell phone as an excuse to stalk the Semsens.

  • Don’t you think I would have their phone number memorized if I was stalking them? Memorized and tattooed on my thigh?

    Ew. Stalking sounds weird.

  • Heh, sorry, didn’t see your comment until just now… My old store was on Allen and Washington in Pasadena, and my new one is in Old Town Pasadena. I should be starting soon. :)

  • Hope you got moved in this weekend okay!!  You guys are in our prayers.  And I thought LOST was just fine, too…a little slow, but all very necessary stuff.  I was just glad to see Charlie again.  DE JA VU!!
