  • The Morning Report

EDIT ADD: I need a drummer for Thursday/Sunday. I tried the two people I know, and they can't do it. Any ideas? I'm hoping for someone I kinda know...

Last night we watched Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, and it was killer. I really enjoyed it a lot. It's written by the same guy that created/wrote The West Wing, so it  definitely has that level of excellence in storytelling and pace. It is worth watching--or at least it was last night. Kudos to Matthew Perry for being quite funny, but not like Chandler much at all--props to him for good acting chops.  Side note: it was weird turning off Studio 60 and having the channel be showing a Friends rerun...eery.

How I Met Your Mother was great, too. Yay.

  • Yay!! I'm so excited about that show. I rented the pilot from Netflix forever ago and loved it. According to critics, the second episode is just as good. Yay for Matthew Perry back on TV!!!!! Such a great cast and the guest stars who will be hosting the fake show are going to be such fun!!!

  • I know, I was totally riveted by Studio 60.

  • Is this a one-time thing or a steady gig?

You should call the SOM tomorrow and ask for info on Alan Nagashima, Nathan Katsma, and Joshua Pumphrey (probably in that order). Need more ideas, email me.

  • I hear Kevin from The Office is a drummer. You should ask him.

  • I totally need a TiVo.  Didn't get to watch it last night - does anyone still have it taped?

  • You know after reading your blog I starting to think, dude maybe those bellbottoms you wore in the 1st grade might come back in to style. Or perhaps some of those sayings might cycle back like "chicks, oh my god!, totally!, groovy". Oh wait a minute they allready have!  Trust me dude, you're in now, but in a few months you'll be out again!

    Sorry

  • I had a purpose for leaving you this comment, but now I can't remember. Maybe if I keep typing it will come to me. Yep, no, I got nothing. NOTHING! So... um... see you at church? I'm Ron Burgundy? Oh, people are coming over on Saturday afternoon/evening for games and possibly Office-watching and pizza, and y'all are welcome to come, although I don't know why I'm telling you, I should just tell you wife, and no that wasn't the reason for this comment. Dang.
