  • IFAS is down...

Our whole network went down (well, not our WHOLE network, because I'm still online...) but basically when IFAS goes down at APU, we really can't do anything--espeically Erin (my office-mate) and I. So here I am, stealing a minute to blog.

Nathianiel loves his Kindergarten class, and he is really doing well--even after only the third day. He's coming home with motions to the alphabet and all these sayings and crafts; he really is in heaven being back in a school setting. I was thinking about what makes Nathaniel such a good student, even at this age. I've seen him around his Sunday-school classmates and T-ball/Soccer peers and I can see a marked difference in the way Nathaniel follows instruction as opposed to the other kids that run around and don't listen very well. I really think that is one of the things that sets him apart right now, he does a really good job of hearing, comprehending, and following instruction. Obviously, I'm proud of him--REALLY proud of him...

I'm looking forward to rehearsal tonight...

OH--Here's the response I got from Disney about that guy that was a total jerk to me on one of my visits (I wrote about it previously)...
It's is so nice that it was sent to MS. Semsen...

  • It's because you guys care enough to correct him when he's misbehaving, and he listens to you. Except I did get in trouble by him when I told Leanne to shut up the other day. I didn't actually want her to stop talking, I was just remarking at her story. And then I called something stupid and I got in trouble for that too. On second thought, stop teaching your kid.

I WANT THAT LADY TO LEAVE!

  • Hurray for Nathaniel!  :)   I love the kindergarten years! Wish I could be in kindergarten again.

  • Yay for Disneyland trying to not be stupid!!! I just hope it wasn't any of my friends that work there that was mean...:)

  • uhhhh, I'm not to impressed with Disney's response...but Nathaniel, now that's a different strory...Hurray for Nathaniel!!

  • I wish our network would go down so I couldn't work anymore.  Wait, no - that wouldn't work.  Then I would have to follow the stupid Disaster Contingency Plan & go work at another location.

  • Yay for good parenting skills! :)

  • Don't hate on my country karaoke.

Seriously, I'm really enjoying playing. I'm excited to see the worship team develop and grow. And Heodi has been nice to me lately, so that means she likes it too.

Fa la, fa la, fa la la la, totally worth driving to San Bern one Sunday for Tristan and Isolde's breaksticks. Speaking of Tristan and Isolde, where the heck are Melody and Chris? You'd think they could at least get on here and say hi every once in a while... IT'S LIKE XANGA IS DYING. First them, then Mike - FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT, SEMSEN. KEEP BLOGGING.
