I guess that last post was pretty long. Too much to read...
Good job to those of you die-hards that made it through.I found a site that let me upload my final project in Advanced Arranging. So if you're curious, take a listen.
It's not a big deal, just a little diddy...there were certain components it had to have and a certain instrumentation. That's pretty much what's up.

I tried to listen, but it said the web page had expired. I'll try again later.
I'd listen to it but Ule's asleep in the bed behind the desk where I'm sitting. I don't think he'd appreciate the music at 6 am. hehe
Ok silly me...how do I get it to play? Do I need a login and password? Because it will not allow me to click on it and play and I'm not sure how to access it from this page...help a girl out! =)
Oh and BTW, your last post was not to long.........
Nerver mind...some how I got it to work! Don't ask me how but it's playing....hey nice job on that diddy!! So what was the thought behind the name Santa Fe?
LOVED IT! I really liked the base and drums. By the time it was over I had a big smile on my face. Its a happy song. really great for this gloomie Monday morning .Thanks!
Fa la fa la, I smell like fajitas, breadsticks, and the inside of a piece of chocolate cake.
too many retreats with kids jumping up and down singing to it and shallow Christians who got piped up on it...maybe I'm cynical in that way, but I've just NEVER been one to jump on the Christian "band wagon" for their little trendy things like WWJD bracelets, etc...I'm just not into it.
Period.
Not always true. You're just more selective about what you embrace. You liked and appreciated, for instance, The Passion of the Christ. Narnia.
And history does matter in discussions like I was having. If you don't want to appreciate that then there's no point in even entering the discussion because it then just becomes all about your personal likes and dislikes, which are not the point.
Oh, and the obvious one: The Purpose Driven Life.
Point? Popularity does not make something not great or unworthy. A fad may actually be over something deserving of the attention. So check the content before pre-judging. You know how you feel about people who criticize PDL as shallow and worthless just because it's so popular today.
RYC: Has it really been 3 years since you played Mercy Came Running for me, Carlos & Donna? I've had the background music for years & had taken it to Donna & Carlos sometime before you came on, and the three of us always intended to do it - someday. Then you ended up playing it for us instead. I just didn't realize it had been that long! You're right about most people not remembering who sings what. I just have a good memory, I guess.
) There are so many new & wonderful songs to choose from, I rarely want to sing anything I've heard someone else sing. And sometimes the best songs are never even released as singles, just a precious find on a CD you buy. That's the best. We heard you guys are coming down this weekend - will you be at Midway?
