  • Add’l Edit:

You’re Jack. Take a break from being perfect.

    I took a LOST quiz. Sorry. I don’t have a job…gotta do something.

    EDIT ADD:
American Idol: The vocal lesson girl is my favorite (I wanna say…Katherine?)

Christy and I call Brenna and Stevie to go home. Stevie’s performance was the weakest performance we’ve EVER seen at this level of the competition in the history of the show. An embarassment. Sorry girl. Go back to the opera!

Also– Christy and I have a new love for the play/movie RENT.  We saw the play in NYC and liked it (see Christy’s blog) but I actually turned the movie off half-way through. Then Christy convinced me to watch the sp. features, where they did a good 2 hour documentary on Johnathan Larson (the writer) who died the day the show opened, tragically. It was an amazing documentary and made me love the film/show. Anyway–we finished it and have been singing the songs ever since. I think we actually stayed up until about 1:30AM Monday night watching it…but you can do that when you don’t have a job!

Finished the requirements for my class tonight…in other words-I’m done with that course! This quarter isn’t even over until March 16th or something,  but I don’t have to go back to that class at all! Yippee! On the other hand, I need to work on my final project for the other class–I turned in one project the prof wasn’t too happy about, I’m not even sure why (but I have an idea…).

A VERY cool html editor now…you should check it out. Click on your user name and underneath the section that says things like New Weblog Entry there should be somthing about using a new version of the html editor…you might have to try it a few times.

Also-heard about another job at the church where Christy grew up-AND they need someone to do their kids choir–the same kids choir Christy was in all her life growing up…hmmm…we’ll be checking that out first thing on Tuesday…

Still no word from Melody and Chris…losers!!

  • that apple thing is a bunch of bologna…it’s all conjecture and speculation. Yeah right. We’ll see, but I wouldn’t count on it…

Of course it’s speculation. But it’s all well thought out and based upon hard facts and realities.

  • I d/l Conviction last night already. but thanks.

  • ^^^Ok Mike’s profile pic is really starting to get to me…creepy!

Nice to hear school is going good for you…keep us posted on your job search…still praying!

  • Can you expand on the HTML editor? Like, what can it do for me?

  • You have waay to much time on your hands!

  • Congrats on finishing up that class!

  • Yeah, expand on html editor for those of us that want to know, but don’t take the effort to do it on our own…  TELL US!

Yeah, you gave me Finale.  And somebody JACKED IT.  That’s messed up.  But yeah, I think somebody stole it out of my stuff at work, probably thinking it was something else.  I can’t imagine too many sailors on an aircraft carrier thinking, “Man, if I just had a program to write music with…  Then my life would be better!!!”  Yeah, right.

    God bless y’all!

  • OK, yeah, so I missed your last blog completely.  Aaron is going to be a great fit.  He has the technical ability and the heart to carry the load of a full choir with *many* talented vocalists, the orchestra, and RICK!  hahaha! <–  (notice the small case)

I started a song in the wrong key.  When I looked at Melody she had this look on her face like she had just seen the depths of hell.  Eyes and mouth wide open.  I wish I had a camera…  I was on narcotics, so I only beat myself up a little bit…  hee hee

  • Daniel, I just need to say…you are missed!!  Just saying is all!

  • Get your butt up here to play NERTZ-the real way. I hate Heidi’s make-shift game!!!! HAHA!

    You’re not nice.

  • RYC:  Would rather send it via email…what is your email now?

  • Her name is Katherine McPhee and she is going to be the next American Idol and probably Mike’s new girl friend. Move over Carrie Underwood….any way I think you guys are right with Brenna and Stevie being the next ones to get the boot. Not that you care… I’m just sayin. Can’t wait to see what the guys have to offer. We didn’t get to see very many of them before now.

LOST tonight!!! Suvivor tomorrow night…. ahhh all is right in T.V.land.

Still praying for a job for you, and please let Nathaniel know I got his letter and I loved it!!

  • Stevie was clearly the worst, but I didn’t put her down for being booted because I think she’ll get a sympathy vote and last another week. Whereas my pick, Heather, is just completely forgettable, which is the kiss of death. But Stevie clearly does deserve to go based on her performance.

  • But I can’t not look at it! It’s fascinating!!

When I was young, I lived at a boarding school with my parents, and there was a jr. olympic sized pool on campus. We used to go swimming a lot, except the pool had these black tiles on the bottom that were like lane markers. They were straight lines with a perpendicular little line on the end, and I thought they looked like hammerhead sharks. I would never touch them with my feet until I was like 8 because I thought they were going to come to life and eat my leg. So I feel your pain.

  • You know what sucks? When you go to the printer to get something, and your iTunes is on shuffle, and you come back to your desk and put your headphones back, only to be greeted by parallel 4ths.

Fa la, fa la, la la la, The First Noel.

FYI, I heard from a little birdie that Pris is expecting to hear from you… might want to give them a ring even if it’s just to check it…

  • Yoo-whoo for JACK, he’s the man in my book : )  Glad to hear that you’re moving right along with your schooling (will keep praying for a job to come your way).  Sunny keeps asking about you.  She wants to know verbatim, (in addition to repeated 2 or 3 times) every word you say in your blog.  I told her I’d let you know she’s missing you big time!!!

  • Quit edit adding your Monday entry and make a new entry already. Gosh!

  • ^^ Seriously. I mean, it’s not like you have a job or anything.
