I've been very uninspired to write on my blog lately (obviously, since I haven't written for a week). I'm not sure why, but I just wanted to say that this weekend Al Clifft came to our church for an annual concert and choral clinic. It was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. The concert was incredible and was anionted. It really is beyond words to describe it.
Oh yeah, and God can really keep you humble (me, that is...). Today we had, like, 10 things go wrong during the worship services. It was really tough to recover from a few of them, and I tried frantically to do so-but it is interesting that God would remind me that HE is in control of everything the morning after the best concert of my life. I can't explain it. I really can't explain much of what God is doing in my life right now. I'm trying to figure it out. The why's and the what's and the where-to-go-next-in-my-ministry type of things. (I use MY ministry VERY loosely. It's not mine at all, but the Lord's).
Hm.
I think something I need to do more often is hear the music I'm writing performed by the people I'm writing it for. It is one of the things that most fulfills me in my existence. I have not had the opportunity to do that, of late, and would like to more. Starting this weekend...

God is so good. I have heard nothing but great comments about Summer's Night! And your right Mike's blog on it is great! I could almost feel as though I was there! What a treat you will have hearing the music that you have written, performed live, rather then just in your head!! Have FUN!
^ What does "ducky2day" mean, anyway? This is all I'm asking...
