  • Today is Nathaniel's birthday and so it all comes out...homemade cake and icing, presents, cupcakes for his preschool (also homemade...) the whole themed b-day party complete w/pinata (what San Diego party doesn't have one of those??).

    More on that later..

    Good news! My parents got an iMac G5!! Yay!! It's only the best computer in the world...I'm so happy for them. They also got us an iSight camera so we can both do video calls on the web and they can see the kids and stuff..it's all very exciting. And yes, maybe I will become a salesperson for Apple...

  • Top 4 crazy Mac addicts I know:

    My brother: EXTREME Mac Addict. Practically disowned me as his sister when I "allowed" Ule to buy a PC. Refuses to use it when he comes to our house and constantly talks about how Macs are the best and this and that.

    Mike: I don't know who is more extreme: Mike or my brother. But since they are best friends it's too close to call. Since Mike works at Apple, maybe he qualifies as the most. By the way, he designed the program itunes. That was him. He also designed some other programs but I don't know all the details on that stuff. I am non technical to say the least. I heard all about itunes from my brother hearing it from Mike long before it even came out. It was this big secret that my brother wasn't supposed to talk about.  Ha, but it only took me a million years to use the program myself. Pretty cool. But anyway...

    Preacher: Another huge Mac fan. Advocates everybody having Macs at work. Problem is, Macs don't have some of the programs we need. Now, I am also a Mac person. I would never buy a PC personally, but there are no good office management programs for Macs. NONE.  There is not room for arguing with me here.. I have all the facts on this. Apple needs to step it up and get some good office programs out! As far as graphics and all that, Macs are the best.

    You!  I am adding you to my list of crazy Mac addicts.

    On the flip side of the coin, I know some die hard PC people. Chris Noles is one of them, my husband is the other, and I met one once at a computer store. He argued with me for about a half hour. Me, I would choose a Mac over a PC any day, but I'm not real passionate about it.  Anyway, just wanted to add that little tidbit.

  • I guess I just don't get it!  What is a MAC?  PC--is that what I have? Is there a difference?  Never mind...just leave me in my ignorance.  See you at church tomorrow.
