Fantastic job Midway Praise Choir!
I thought it was a really cool event that we did! Not only did it take us out of our normal environment (Sunday morning church) but it gave a lot of people a chance to hang out and connect while we were waiting to perform--something that doesn't normally happen on it's own. I thought it was cool-and if you missed it, you missed out!!! Go MPC!!
Excerpts from: Psalm 90
------
14 Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love,
that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.17 May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us;
establish the work of our hands for us--
yes, establish the work of our hands.
------I see singing connected with joy in the Psalms quite a bit. It is a fun thing, singing...I think that the best times of singing for joy are when you are able to block out the world and focus on God alone. He is the giver of joy--and a lot of times I don't allow Him to give it to me 'cause I'm holding onto anger or selfishness or pride. It's vicious...
Kids Choir performance tomorrow!!!
Star Wars is out in LESS THAN THREE WEEKS!!!!

the coolest thing about the whole evening of young and old meeting God in that place was that at least one person was saved. One man, maybe 23 years old accepted Jesus Christ into his life last night. he loudly proclaimed his acceptance of Christ when he accepted the invitation to join Hugo on stage. Praise Him! Praise God! we were used of God to bring one more into the kingdom. it was awesome.
When I saw that Star Wars commercial for this next one I immediately thought of you.
I'm looking forward to coming back to choir on Tuesday.
