Psalm 40: 1-3
1 I waited patiently for the LORD ;
he turned to me and heard my cry.
2 He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
3 He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear
and put their trust in the LORD .

Hmmm...patiently. Yikes!
Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord-as a result of what they see from my praising! That's a big responsibility! I am always telling our choir that how they look on stage is a humongous part of what they are doing. We can be the best singers ever, but if we look dead on stage, then why sing? We've got to lead our congregation, both by singing and by entering into the presence of the Lord ourselves.We're home. The trip back was long and arduous...at least for the boys. It's really those last couple of hours that really kill ya. The last hour the kids kept waking up on a rotating cycle, crying and wanting to be out of their seats. Poor little guys...but we're happy to be back!
Oh yeah, and by the way, I won at Trivial Pursuit 90's edition on Saturday night! OK, it wasn't just me-it was guys against girls, but our team won, and I contributed many answers, including the final one to win the game! Yahoo!!! I'm the master gamer! I challenge ANYONE OF YOU to a duel! Just try to beat me! HA!
Oh yeah, and Clay Aiken is the bomb.
