  • Lost:
Exhilirating. Breathtaking. Quite possibly the best show on TV. I don't know how else to say it. One of the most original things I've ever seen. I'm enthralled and committed...I LOVE IT!

Worship last night was incredible. I don't think the WED night crowd at church knew what to do with almost the entire Midway Praise Choir leading worship. I think we might have been bigger than the congregation...but the worship time was absolutely incredible. It was uplifting, fun, and I could sense the Lord's anointing on us as we sang and played for His glory. Thank you Lord! and Thank you MPC members that came out to sing. It was so powerful!!!!!

In Christ Alone, I place my trust...

I am excited about leadership training lately. I have been training a lot of folks, and it has been fun to experience that growth with them. This morning and this afternoon I have meetings for it-and I'm looking forward to it.

    Memory Verse:
"All a man's ways seem innocent to him, but motives are weighed by the Lord." Proverbs 16:2

  • Thank you for your comment. As corny as this sounds, it meant a lot to me. Thanks.

  • I counted 40 people in the audience during worship. So we were close in size.

I still haven't watched Lost yet. I need to do that tonight.

  • I haven't seen Lost. This is another one of those "reality" shows, right? I haven't seen it so I shouldn't pass judgment, but aside from Extreme Makeover Home Edition there hasn't been a "reality" show that has had anything to do with reality. My family watches Survivor and my son kinda likes Amazing Race. I've seen both, and Survivor is interesting from a psych perspective, but the real world isn't like that at all. Imaging if your office ran like that? Where would the company be if the employees were always trying to get each other fired? Okay, I know it happens now and then, but I'm talking about a way of life for the "entire society" involved. Dog eat dog? Survival of the fittest? Natural selection? Darwin? No thanks. I know I'm a hypocrit in that I get sucked into watching a few of these now and then, but for the most part I'm not really interested. Sorry for venting, brother, but my wife just doesn't want to hear it. (shrug)

Glad ministry is going well. Great memory verse.
