I have found that I have the most joy when I encourage others. Ironically, this happens less often than I'd like.
I'm not sure why this happens--you'd think that naturally, we'd feel best when we are encouraged, not when we are being an encourager...but for some reason, it brings my focus to the right place--others.
Our nature as humans is selfishness, but it is an act of self-lessness that I feel closer to Christ. THAT makes sense. Everything about Christ is upside-down in comparison to human nature...
It is my goal to be more encouraging--and perhaps even that's selfish-but I want to be closer to Christ. If by encouraging others I can be more like him-than I'm gonna do it!Church was awesome yesterday. Chuck is a great speaker, and it was an incredible service. I love services like that! Praise the Lord!

Yes, yes I know I backed out of Nertz--again!!! I know I missed out on fun but my mom had me run errands for her. Anyways, I am hoping to stay in small group. At least that's what I'm planning, you guys are awesome and I don't want to leave; but, I have no idea how it will be like when school starts.
What a very insightful and truthful entry.
Encouragment is good.
I would like to encourage you to be a better Nertz player.
So true so true!! If only we all would listen and obey not just here and foget!!!
Two props toChuck also.....
Keep encouraging! That is a cool gift and one that not many have.
It is so cool when everyone gets so fired up. I just hope it keeps growing this time. We seem just on the verge of ... something ... we just need a push to get there. Thank you God for using Chuck!!
As for NERTZ... how about having a night just for us beginners who would like to learn. Then half of the blogs would be understandable instead of gibberish
