So yesterday we met with the owner and realty company reps for this glorious house we are trying to rent in Burbank.

It was a lot of pressure and we really didn’t know what to do with ourselves…the owner seemed nice. He showed us around the house a little bit, and then talked to the realty lady in private for a while.
Then the gal told us that the owner was going to talk to his wife about it and that we should hear back from them in about a week.

A week!!

Egads!

If we were paranoid, we could think that he was just putting us off because they didn’t like us and wanted to show the house around to a lot of different people…IF we were paranoid, that is…

So…we’re praying…

…and a little paranoid.

So every artist has a myspace page, right?
Right.

Except when I joined myspace a long time ago, I didn’t know that there was a delineation between a “regular” myspace page and a “music” myspace page…so of course I was on a regular page for a long time (not that I actually DID anything on myspace).
My co-worker made a music page about 2 years ago, but I didn’t even log in to it until last week sometime…and surprisingly it was still there…
but no friends.  

Well…Tom shut my regular myspace page down (apparently I uploaded too many cool SNL videos…shhhhh) so I’ve gone back over to this music page and actually uploaded a few of my compositions and filled out a little bit of the information.
The weird thing is that I’m technically listed as a “band”…like the Red Hot Chili Peppers or something…and some of you don’t accept friend requests from bands. (Thanks a lot).

Anywho–go over to my new myspace page and add me as a friend! Also, if you have any ideas on how to spruce it up, let me know. I’m all ears.

Good news. I got a call back from the realtor this afternoon and she said the owner wanted to meet us AND that our credit stuff checked out…and she was going to cancel her appointment with the other people that wanted to see the house at the same time we did…sooooo maybe we’ll get the house!!!!
We’ll see…going to meet the owner at 3pm on Thursday…if he likes us, hopefully we can close the deal!! We’re so excited!

Please PRAY PRAY PRAY for us over the next 24 hours or so.

We found an amazing amazing amazing house in Burbank for rent that is like a mansion compared to the dumps we’ve seen (this is all relative, mind you) and all of these houses are at the same price…we’ve been really persistent with the realty company regarding renting it because it is SO wondeful, but there are several people right now interested in the house and they haven’t even done anything on it!

Anyways–we have an appointment tomorrow at 3pm to look at the house, but we’ve been trying to get the gal to let us sign a lease even before that (since there is someone else ALSO looking at it at 3pm, another person on Friday, and another person on Saturday).

I frantically filled out the application today and faxed it back to her, and have left several (I’m sure by now–quite annoying) messages and emails telling her that we’ll sign a lease as soon as she can give one to us…

I hope we don’t sound desperate! (oh wait, too late)

I’m telling you, this house is spectacular. It’s in a great school zone, on a beautiful street, and 4 streets away from our friends Dave & Mary…we’re very excited about it…
I’m so anxious right now!!!!

I got the job today as an orchestrator on the movie “Fire and Ice“.

Amazing.

OK–and on the serious, this is NOT an April Fools joke. I don’t believe in practical jokes…(really).
I’m super excited. I talked to the composer this morning (oh, and did I mention that I talked to David T. Clydesdale yesterday for about 45 minutes helping him with LOGIC?)
