Just saw Cheaper by the Dozen 2. Ugh. What a stupid movie. I really want to see Munich (3 cheers for Speilberg! Hip-hip–hooray!), but Christy doesn’t like movies like that. Oh well–seen just about anything else that was worth seeing, so we opted for the dumb one. I’m not complaning, just letting you know–it was dumb. But you probably already knew that….BUT a quick note: date with Christy was great! I love my wife.
_______________________________________________________Hmm..so we visited with some friends for dinner on Friday night and it was tasty and fun! Except that DHawk is pretty anti-Apple. That made me sad, sad for him. What a poor, sad life he must lead, not having Apple products…
OK! So I’m back in San Diego and I go to my favorite Bagel place on Palm and 805 AND THEY DISCONTINUED THE APPLE-PIE BAGEL that I loved so much. I was SO bummed. I had only tasted it once, but it was a magical bagel. I was hoping for one today for lunch (at around 3PM). The guy said they just weren’t selling, so I just wanted to say THANKS EVERYONE for rushing out to buy the apple-pie bagel, ’cause it’s your fault that it’s discontinued! Ah! I seriously was going to ask him to make some for me next Saturday. I was like, “I’ll come and buy them all!”. But alas, I didn’t have it in me, and there were other customers around…
Saw Becky Boatwright today, which was cool. Melody brought her to our eleven-hour practice at church, which must have been a bummer for her to sit through-sorry Becky! I’m also encouraging her to start blogging and to read all of our blogs—c’mon Becky, you know you want to!! Becky and I go way back, way too long of a story…
Hm, I guess no one has any creative guesses about the new iPod. Thanks for your ideas, everyone-Psha!
Oh yeah–eleventy thumbs up to Jamba Juice, Baja Fresh, In-N-Out, Starbucks, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, Chili’s, BJ’s, TGIF’s, and Ikea, for all being within 5 minutes of our new apartment! OK, I actually only frequent the first four all that often, but still…

You saw DHawk?? I miss DHawk!!!!! How’s he doing????? I was in percussion ensemble with him and did sound in UTCC for chapel with him playing drums! Awwww.
Ok, iPod guesses…I bet the next one will be the iPod Rocket!! It’ll fly!!! You can have a remote so wherever you are you can make it fly to you!!! How’s that??
You’re right! I totally mixed them up!!! I knew DHawk too, not as well as DHath. I did sound for him too when he played keys. He also sang, but really quietly, I always had to turn him up a bit.
All the Dans got confusing…my older sister and I were trying to remember you all recently!! I think we just remembered you three though…
What – no Rubio’s? I lost my fave place to eat in Mission Valley when it closed – Koo Koo Roo. But I think I might die without Rubio’s. There are 3 within 5-6 minutes of us. Woohoo!

Guess we are not going to see, Cheaper by the Dozen 2. Lol Rachel saw that and said it was good….so I knew I should stay away from that one. Brokeback Mountain is out…won’t tell ya what Bob said about that one…yikes. I think it will be Narina. Have heard from many, that it is good. Thanks for your input Daniel. I heard the first “Cheaper By the Dozen” was dumb so I can’t imagine what the 2nd one was like. I saw Memoirs Of A Geisha the other night along with our MOPS moms and it turned out to be pretty good.
Munich is pretty good, but pretty intense.
Is DHawk Dan Hawkins? I used to go to his church. Good music.

Your wife says there is a Pick Up Stix in the same center, so you better be making some room because I’m moving in. If Minnesotans had ANY idea what they are missing by not having Pick Up Stix, Baja Fresh, Pat & Oscars, Islands, BJ’s, and ToGo’s, there would be anarchy!!! You’re so lucky!!!!
